If you like Indian dishes, you will want to go here more than once. Nice tasting dishes, good ambience, wide menu selection to tempt your taste buds. The only reasons I personally couldnโt go all the way to a 5 star rating is
a) the loud music - whoever chooses the tracks either got to mellow it down a bit or choose some that aids the ambience - and
b) the time it took to place your order first and get your check at last. I could count just two mesereros for the entire restaurant.
Oh btw - it was amusing to note that the entrance display lights blink SOS signal:

We had such a nice experience here. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. The lamb saag had a lovely garlicky flavor, though I wish the lamb was a little more tender. The portions were nice and big and great for sharing family style.
All around enjoyable experience! I have a really low spicy tolerance, which makes trying new Indian restaurants a little daunting. My husband and I ordered mild chicken tikka masala to split. It was absolutely delicious and not too spicy! It was so good my husband basically cleaned the bowl out with naan. We then actually ordered one more serving because I wanted leftovers. The garlic naan was slightly fluffy and had wonderful flavor. The servers were excellent and kind. We were checked on a few times by the staff. I loved the feel of the place. It was clean, well lit, and simplistic decore. The booths were exta long which would be nice if you had a slightly larger party. I will assuredly be returning. If you've made it this far in the review, just go eat there already!
Curry Connect has an ample menu of primarily South Indian dishes. The dosas are a pleasant option not offered at many restaurants in the area so I definitely recommend them. The curries are solid and I recommend the sizzlers if you want to try sometime different (the paneer tikka kabab is phenomenal). Instead of the naan, try the tandoori roti to go with your curry. As an appetizer, Curry Connect's chili paneer is one of the better options. Will the paneer dishes I've tried have been good. The paneer is soft, and toasted properly. Overall, the breadth of the dishes and quality of the food makes this restaurant on of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Salt Lake area.
First of all, This restaurant has an elaborative menu. We ordered chicken Manchuria, lamb thalapakattu and shrimp pulao. All tasted good. As per my husband Lamb thalapakattu is one of the best in the Valley ๐. The girl who took our order was sweet๐. We liked this place so much that we are prepared to go and try other dishes in future ๐. Nice ambience. Plus point, they have some nice vegetarian options.
With the top rated Indian in Salt Lake (and possibly Utah?), We had to see for ourselves! It does live up to the hype and gets a great 4.8/5 stars for me! ๐ We have been to probably 10 different Indian places, and this kicks out a couple of the ones that we were going to.
To start, the Samosas were excellent. Very well spiced and seasoned, tons of packed flavor. The best I've had so far. The Mango Lassi was pretty good, but was a little weak in Mango flavor. For mains we went classic Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. This Tikka is in my top spot right now! Amazing flavor, a rubust tomato base, but not tomatoey at all. Spices and seasoning were perfect and punchy. I like mine medium spicy, which was perfect. The Butter Chicken was very good, not my top spot at the moment, but so good still. Very creamy, very buttery, and full of flavor. Garlic Naan is amazing, fresh shaved garlic on there with cilantro, and the dough has great flavor itself. This is a total personal preference, it is a LITTLE thick for me, can take over a little bit of the curry and rice when eaten together, but it's great.
Finally, my favorite part that will keep me coming back is their spiced and flavored Pulao Rice. I was sceptical at first because I like white Indian rice with my dishes, but after this rice dish I won't go back. They will ask for white or flavored rice, please get the flavored! The white rice was unfortunately a tiny bit on the dry side and not a ton of flavor. But it didn't matter after getting the Pulao!
Finally the best part were the prices. It is at least $2 cheaper than some other places in the valley per dish, and it's better, AND the portions are bigger. It's the best in almost every aspect. Very friendly as well! Great job over there ๐
So beautiful so elegant just looking like a wow!๐. This is the best Authentic Indian restaurant in Salt Lake City Metropolitan area.
P.S. Gobi Lasuni is a must-try entree dish in appetizers.๐
Recommended by a colleague that this is his new favourite Indian place in town, so we went try it out today and I would agree with him! The chicken curry and butter nann I had was amazing. I really love how you get to choose which kind of curry you like and how spicy you prefer. I had the coconut korma at medium and itโs just perfect for my taste since I canโt take it too spicy. The place is clean and neat and got Indian music in the background. Their service is also superb where they answered all the questions we have for the spice level and curry options and we even got mango lassi on the house! Would definitely come back for more!
